Staten Island Pietracatella Orgins
My Paternal Grandfather was Vincenzo (James) Pietracatella who emigrated from Monacilioni, Italy in 1905. He married my Grandmother Donata Maria Goffredo who was a 1st generation immigrant born in Elmira, NY. They settled down in the West Brighton section of Staten Island.
Out of this union 4 sons, 4 daughters and over 30 Grandchildren were born over the years.
My Father was the 3rd son and his name was Anthony (Tony) Pietracatella.

My Maternal Grandfather William Arthur Rowe married my Grandmother Ethel Velma Estabrook whose Paternal side of her Family emigrated from England around 1630 and settled in Massachusetts. Out of this union they had 4 Sons, 2 Daughters and 14 Grandchildren.
They lived in Bethlehem , NH. Their 1st child (my Mother) France Emerette Rowe was born in Littleton, NH in 1913.
In the late 1920's my Grandfather received a job offer with Chase Bank in NYC and moved his Family to Staten Island
